The Clubhouse Sheffield Review - Proper Pub Grub

The Clubhouse Sheffield Menu Review

As you know I love trying out new food places in Sheffield so was thrilled to get the chance to review The Clubhouse Sheffield. It's based on London Road which is slightly out of the city centre but is full of the hustle and bustle of cute food places and good drinking spots The Clubhouse Sheffield* is both!

The Clubhouse Sheffield

Built on the site of an old pub destroyed in WW2 in the late 50s / early 60s by Wards Brewery it's full of character and really encompasses that local pub feel with but with all the modern touches needed for a brilliant sports bar. I've been The Clubhouse Sheffield many times due to its proximity to Bramall Lane, I go to all the home games and have found The Clubhouse Sheffield to be one of the best options in terms of keeping up with the sport and having a drink

The Clubhouse Sheffield food review

One thing I hadn't managed on my many trips to The Clubhouse Sheffield was to try out their food but I'm so glad I've now had the opportunity to. They have such a wide choice of light bites, pub classics and awesome burgers. Me and Connor both decided to try a burger - the idea of homemade chips swung it for me!

Pizza Burger The Clubhouse Sheffield

Connor had a pizza burger which was just ridiculously epic! Look how gooey the cheese is on his beef burger, he tells me the pepperoni was delicious and spicy too. The chips completely lived up to my expectations too they were crispy and fluffy and I could eat tons of them

Southern Fried Chicken Burger The Clubhouse Sheffield

I went for a southern fried chicken burger which came with 3 huge pieces of chicken. One thing I really loved about The Clubhouse Sheffield is that the burger toppings all came on the side, I thought it was a really nice touch and meant I could put what I wanted on my burger which is something you normally only get when you make burgers at home.

The drinks were great and Connor tried 2 craft ales he'd never tried before and I had a Watermelon Gin which was incredible it had a little slice of Watermelon in it too.

I'll definitely be going back to The Clubhouse Sheffield to try out more of their food, I think Wing Wednesdays is my next trip because who doesn't love half-price wings? I think if you're looking for a new pub with a real home comfort feel The Clubhouse Sheffield will be right up your street
