Fun things to do in Paris

It's been a long time since we were able to freely travel or even consider travelling but that hasn't stopped me dreaming of all the gorgeous locations I want to visit and what's on my bucket list. One of those Places is the city of love - Paris. I've always wanted to go to Paris, it just looks so incredible and after finishing watching Emily in Paris I'm definitely in love with the place so I've put together five fun things to do in Paris - please go and do them so I can live vicariously through my lovely readers!

Fun things to do in Paris

Paris is known for being a city full of history and culture, there are obviously huge iconic monuments that you'll want to see but here's 5 things I think you need to add to your list on your trip. First things first make sure you've got an Ebooking* for a hotel or apartment central to all the fun things to do in Paris you have on your list

Seek Out Nicolas Flamel

If you're a huge Harry Potter fan like myself you'll know the name Nicolas Flamel, but did you know he was a real guy? The famous alchemist came from Paris and you should visit Flamel's old house at 51 Rue Montmorency, often quoted as being the oldest stone house in Paris

Shop vintage bookstores

There's something just so quaint about old fashioned bookstores, the smell and just general personality of these stores is something I adore and Paris has some of the best bookstores around. Definitely add Shakespeare and Company to your list and if you still want to seek out more bookstores then Abbey bookshop is literally jammed full of books - make sure you shop smart while you're abroad

Take a film / TV tour

As I mentioned Paris is the city of love, and it's been home to SO many different movies and tv shows that you can take some incredible tours around city off the beaten track hunting out your favourite film locations from Amelie (Foire du trĂ´ne funfair), The Da Vinci Code (Saint Sulpice), Emily in Paris (La Maison Rose) and many more.

Metro Art Tour

Paris is of course known for its incredible Art museums with the most incredible collections in the world. But did you know you can also see incredible art on the metro? Take a trip across the stations and find lots of quirky pieces of art that will take your breath away. The perfect way to explore the city and get a feel for the culture

Visit the Dodo Manege

Who doesn't love a carousel? I don't think I'll ever grow too old to ride them they just bring such a retro joy to me and the Dodo Manege looks to be one of the best. It's located in the gardens of the Jardin des Plantes and it's dedicated to extinct animal species. It's so cute and fun and definitely worth a special trip to find it

What's your top secret Paris location?
