What's on Sheffield - May 2019 Events you can't miss

Hurrah it's a new month (almost) Happy May everyone and welcome to the second edition of my Things to do in Sheffield feature (you can read the April feature here). I've had brilliant feedback and I'm glad you guys are loving my ideas on how to get the most out of our gorgeous city so let's get into What's On locally this May

What's On Sheffield May 2019

All Month - Kitty Barn Cafe

Location: 50 Chapel Walk, Sheffield, S1 2PD
Cost: £5 per hour
If anyone knows me you'll know how much I love cats, I've got one furball myself called Tilly who's a beautiful ragamuffin but if I could own more I would so I was thrilled to hear about Kitty Barn Cafe opening, it's within walking distance of my work which means I'm definitely going to be paying a visit on those stressful days I need calming with some purr therapy. The Cafe is currently on a drop-in basis with bookings to follow further down the line

All Month - Slug and Lettuce

Location: 18 Holly Street, Sheffield, S1 2GT

If you ever went to reflex you'll be sad to know it is no longer. I know I was as Reflex tended to be where my nights out would end, it's now been replaced by Slug and Lettuce which is a totally different kind of atmosphere but one I'm really keen to go and check out. It looks like a completely beautiful cocktail bar with food options too

If you'd like to join in the celebrations there will be an open top bus parade from Bramall Lane culminating at the City Hall where the team will be presented to the city and their achievements celebrated
